Concept Maps
	Conceptual Maps are the initial visual representation of the relationships between; categories, content areas, and application pages within a web application. The conceptual map is used as a springboard for developing the site map and serves as the initial grouping of like objects and ideas. Concept maps let you define where more thought needs to be put into an application and from a high level gives the stakeholders a solid understanding of the level of sophistication involved in building their application.


Answers the following questions: How can the client be sure the site architecture is going in the right direction? What will the site structure look like? What will go where? What elements will be grouped together? Where will new elements in future phases be placed?		Provides the following benefits: Identifies all site features early in the development process Documents basic understanding of site structure and grouping Provides high-level description of purpose and content of main site areas Allows for extensibility for future features and presents overall "big picture"
