Design Concepts Design Concepts are developed in a variety of ways to provide the client options to choose from. This usually includes several layers of the web application for instance; the landing page (home page), section landing pages, and secondary layout pages. Navigation, cookies and layout can vary from page to page depending on where it resides. Design concepts are provided to give the Business Owners visual choices in layout, navigation and other aspects of the application.

   
Answers the following questions:
  • What will the site look like?
  • What will the mood/attitude of the site experience be like?
  • How is everything that is known about the brand, target audiences, site structure, and site features translated into a visual direction?
Provides the following benefits:
  • Ensures the web application accurately depicts the client's brand and imge
  • Provides options so client can choose most appropriate design direction
  • Ensures early collaboration and agreement on visual direction
